Svein Tuft started out his cycling career with a $40 bike from a thrift store, and an extended trip into the great Canadian wilderness. Not what most would call a conventional approach, yet, Svein is now one of Canada’s top cyclists. Svein’s favourite drink has always been Chocolate Milk, not only for its taste, but for its excellent nutritional properties that allow him to cycle longer and harder. Although Svein now rides a sleek road bike for Team Garmin, rather than a $40 clunker, Svein still pounds a chocolate milk at the end of every race. Apparently its benefits are obvious, as the rest of Team Garmin are prescribing to Tuft’s system and rely on a bottle of chocolate milk to give them what they need after a long training session or race.
