BC Young Riders Shine on the National and International Stage

The last two months has been nonstop for the riders from BC. It would be hard to cover everything that has been going on and the great results that have been achieved by all. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Cycling BC Juniors team in Het Volk Belgium. Best place in a different 1 day race was 4th
  • BMX Team at Nationals winning 4 National titles – Tory 4th in the World (Aus)
  • BC DH riders win National titles – Kyle U19 and Lauren U17 – Team for Worlds picked soon.
  • MTB XC Team winning 3 National titles at U19 and U17
  • Tour de l’Abitibi – Curtis Jung & Zachary Taylor Ride for Western Canada (Curt top 8 placings)
  • Evan Guthrie goes on to win 2 World Cups (Evan and Tyler Allison make Worlds team)
  • 4 of Cycling BC’s juniors make the team for Moscow (Russia) Junior Track Worlds
  • Canada Cup DH Bromont – Remi Gauvin and Trenton Zoobkoff go 1-2 (Juniors)
  • Canada Cup XC – Canmore – Evan and Tyler go 1-2 (Juniors)
  • Canada Cup XC – Alberta – Mo Lawrence wins the Juniors as a U17
  • BC riders riding for Canada at Pan-Ams Track Champs Mexico – & winning medals
