This past Wednesday, Canadian snowboarder Sarah Conrad carried the Olympic torch on the final leg of the relay through Halifax. Once Sarah received the torch from Pittsburgh Penguins Captain Sidney Crosby, she completed the relay and lit the community cauldron in Grand Parade Square. “Wednesday night was probably the craziest night of my life, not at all what I expected, but in a good way” Conrad wrote.
