Last month in Cali, Colombia, at the third World Cup event of the season, Canada’s cycling team had the opportunity to show the world what they’re made of.
The competition was filled with Canadian successes both on and off the podium. In addition to winning gold and silver medals, for women’s team pursuit and women’s individual pursuit respectively, the whole team pushed their performances to new levels, establishing three new Canadian speed records.
With characteristic dedication to cycling, Team Canada is working on their speed, exchanges and technique to prepare for the fourth and final World Cup in Beijing this January. We’re already celebrating, because medals or no medals, we know our team will perform with the kind of passion that makes us proud to be Canadian. Check the PBCM blog for updates.
