This February, Canadian dairy farmers are going to be shipping 80, 000 additional liters of chocolate milk to Vancouver B.C. Why all the extra milk, you ask? Find out after the jump.
The dairy farmers of Canada know how important it is for the athletes competing in the 2010 Winter Olympics to have the proteins and carbohydrates they need to do their best, and what better way to provide that than with chocolate milk? The not-for-profit B.C. Dairy Foundation is dedicated to promoting milk as a part of a healthy, balanced diet and 80, 000 litres of milk later, we think they’re doing a pretty good job.
