By PBCM Team

This year, the Ride To Conquer Cancer races for its third year in Vancouver, BC. The race takes place June 18 and 19, 2011 as riders take the journey from Vancouver to Seattle. The two-day fundraising cycling event raises money for research and better patient care with all the funds going to the BC Cancer Foundation.

The ride begins the morning of Saturday, June 18th, 2011 in Vancouver with a motivating Opening Ceremony before riders kick off  the first leg of the course. After camping overnight, the enduring  journey will end on Sunday afternoon in Seattle.

The Ride To Conquer Cancer originally started in Toronto and has now grown to several cities across Canada. Vancouver has embraced the event while growing in numbers and popularity every year. The Canadian RTCC races combined raised more than 16.1 million dollars in 2010. The cause is something everyone can get behind and taking part in this race is a great challenge that is good for you and something you can be proud of!

There is still time to register and fundraise for this event so if you are interested in contributing to making this event even better this year, check out the official website.
